i was wondering if someone could help me with something. I did not let my jars cool all the way before inoculating them do i got a chance they will still colonize?

Unless you inoculated right after you pulled them out of the pot you will probably be fine.

Im thinking the water in the syringe will cool down the inoculated area enough to keep your spores safe.

If they were just warm, you should be okay.

At the least I let my jars cool on their own until the metal ring is just the slightest bit warm.  Ideally the jars should be completey cooled off.

If you're pressure cooking several rounds of jars, just wait until one round is fulled cooled (inside PC) then take them out and set on your oven rack until you need to use them.  They should have foil rubber banded to the top so by leaving that on you're preventing dust from getting in.

At this point you'll just have to wait and see what happens to your jars.  In the future, wait until they're completely cool.  Whats waiting one more hour versus having wasted jars?

Good luck
