A question about Blobs?

I have a MSG of MS PE on poo/coir/verm and the first flush is all blobs except for one upside down cap without a stem. I've read when picking a flush, you should cut/slice the fruits away from the sub and the stub would be taken back over by the myc. If that's the case, then if you have a tub of blobs without caps, could you just pick the big ones and then dunk and let the myc take over the blobs? Or would they rot?

Pick them once they start to slow down on growth. I honestly see no reason to dunk after one flush either.

Thanks Diesel, but my question is, will the Myc take over the blobs if I leave them on?

Well, mushroom tissue and mycelium tissue are essentially the same thing, so theoretically yes. But I have never left fruits on a substrate so I can't say with certainty. The only experience I have is one that grew between the substrate and tub and I didn't notice, and by the time I got to it it was turning into a black goo.
Hopefully someone around here can answer the question a little better for you.

I think "black goo" says enough. I'm just going to leave a few and see what happens. I once had a sneaky little abort that I didn't see and it was turning to goo too when I finally discovered it.

I have a tub of pe now with blobs. They been in there awhile i just picked them. My mycelium never covered them up . I didnt let them go for the longest time, i want the nutes to go to the normal looking pe. The blobs will kick your ass though imo

I picked my blobs off with a scalpel and they come off fine without tearing up the sub..
