Simple Farmer! Thanks!

Did I let consolidate after 100%. I'm sorry, I dont know what you mean. I don't recall any mention of this on the DVD. Bottom line? Are you saying that, after 100%, I should let the jars sit for perhaps a week before doing the dunk and roll?

I gotta for for now. Have a full day. But, look for me to be very active in this forum going forward. I've invested a lot of time and money in my brand new "farm". I gotta get this right. So, i'll be around believe me.

I would bet this is your problem.  I'm a noob too.  I made the mistake of birthing my cakes only a few days after all the outer substrate was colonized.  The extra time is to allow the myc to establish a better hold on the substrate.  Since I birthed too early my cakes spent nearly 3 weeks in the SGFC before I saw pins.  If this is your problem, I can tell you from experience that you are going to have to develop some EXTRA patience and do your best to keep those cakes hydrated.  The amount of time they will be spending in the FC before you see pins will dry them out if you aren't careful.  Good luck!
