FRUITING CHAMBER QUESTION - PLEASE RECOMMEND! TNX!

guys i have spent ALOT of time today reading primarily from "All of RR's Notes on Mushroom Cultivation Forum" - an incredible wealth of information.
i have been attempting my first grow. i've made alot of mistakes. but, no worries! im actually excited just to know that i'm figuring this out. i've made 2 critical mistakes - 1.)didnt allow for consolidation after 100% colonization, and 2.)i drilled WAAAYYY too many holes in my FC (and im now understanding why! - im having a heck of a time maintaining the appropriate humidity level).
issue #1 is simple. next time i'll allow time for consolidation.
issue #2 is also simple. i've got to make a new FC. i will get another 116 quarter Sterilite (or Rubbermaid) clear plastic container. After reading thru RR's notes, he never says exactly, but eludes to "a couple dozen holes on the bottom", and "perhaps 100 holes for the FC". great! but, i wanna just confirm with you guys coz i'm gonna do this. the container will cost me $35, and i'll have to drill holes, etc. i wanna do this exactly right next time. so, about 24 holes on the bottom, 24 on the top, and another 50 or so spread across the sides??
i cant tell you guys enough how much i appreciate this resource (YOU) via this forum. i'd be twisting in the wind without ya. it would take me a year to figure all this stuff out via trial and error. and, id probably actually get frustrated and quit if that were the case.

I believe it was quarter inch holes evenly spaced by 2 inches on all six sides

thanks for the reply! ya know, i've got 3M clear packaging tape. i'm thinking about just taping over half of these holes. perhaps i'll just start closing up holes until the humidity levels around 95'ish%. i think i had better rehydrate my perlite though first. my perlite is now almost 1 week old, and its been sitting in a FC with F$*#'n 200+ holes. surely its drying out fast.
maybe i should remove my cakes for a few minutes, pour my perlite in a bucket, tape up say 50% of these holes with clear packaging tape, rehydrate my perlite, pour back into FC, and then finally put the cakes back. make sense?

Perlite will stay hydrated for 4to6 weeks fyi . If you just mist your perlite with your cakes it will last longer than your cakes before you need to re-soak ..
