Storing shrooms for a few months

Is it OK to store (completely) dried shrooms for a few months (lets say 6 motnhs) or will they loose too much of psilo* ? Also, I know storing them in a glass jar is not the best way but currently I have no other option, so take this in account (on the previous question). They are in a dark place though.

Adding some desiccant packets and maybe an oxygen scavenging packet will really help. Many swear by vacuum packing. If "bag appeal" isn't a concern, it may be prudent to finely grind down the dried mushrooms into a fine powder and then compress the fully dried powder as mush as possible in an air tight container (aka not plastic) the remove any airspaces.
This may be extreme though, as I found a cracker dry mushroom on my shelf that was nearly 8 months old and in open air, and it was still active.
Cool, dark, dry, and oxygen free is the key.
Good luck.

What would you say, how less potent were they, say in %?

For a few months, a ziploc baggie is fine. Or a glass jar, sure. Just make sure they are all the way dry. Desiccant packet isn't a bad idea, but not really required if the container is airtight.

The botanist is absolutely right. The steps he described to get rid of oxygen will improve shelf life. However, all of my anecdotal experience points to the fact that unless you get your shrooms or acid wet, it will be fine. As with botanist, I have tripped off of shrooms left out in the open air for almost a year (found some aborts behind a dresser). This is true for other drugs that are supposed to degrade easily. I had a blotter of LSD that was in my sock drawer in the open air with no Baggie/tinfoil/etc for over a year. and I tripped BALLS on it at a festival a year and some later. so it was almost two years old and just as strong as the day I got the sheet. Experiences may vary, but don't worry.
P.s I have noticed storing shrooms in e freezer when they've dries is not the best as condensation creeps into the jar/Baggie/etc. unless vacuum sealed. In a drawer in a bag is fine. Peace.

Sorry mang, but it's newb season. Between cultivation PMs and offers to have my baby, I'm ready to turn off the PM feature entirely.
