outdoor grow bucket. would it hurt to bring it indoors?

i just moved into an apartment complex from a house. i have an outdoor bucket, but i can't really leave it outside all the time now, because some drunk jackass might steal it, kick it over, or something like that. how bad would it mess up the bucket to bring it indoors at night or for a few days at a time if i leave town?

well, so far it has only been outside for a few days, but has had saran wrap over the top to keep the bucket nearly airtight (it has been pouring here and i didn't want to end up with a bucket of turd soup). the wrap kept all the water out, so it probably hasn't been exposed to the air outside yet, just the sunlight. i had planned on it being an outdoor bucket, so i didn't pc my substrate. this is why i think it would probably fall to contamination indoors. am i right in thinking this?

i did pasteurize the mix, just didn't pressure cook it. i usually pc anything i keep indoors. i have never kept anything i only pasteurized inside. i know it would be better outdoors.
if i leave it outside, something bad might happen to it. the apartment complex is full of college students who party all night long. they get drunk and fall on my plants. hmmm.....maybe i should put all my cacti oustide to protect the bucket. if i bring it inside, something bad might happen to it. contams seem to have liked my indoor projects. then again, now i live in a clean, new apartment instead of a dirty, mold-infested house.
thanks for the advice.

you can just do it by eye, because as said before it doesnt matter how much, cause if there are no contams, then it will just take longer to colonize the less that you use, so throw in a lot of spawn if you want it colonized right away (1:3) or if you have time to wait and you feel confident in you pasteurization techniques then go 1:10 to save a little spawn...its up to you.
