This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.
There's a part of every living thing that wants to become itself: the tadpole into the frog, the chrysalis into the butterfly, a damaged human being into a whole one. That is spirituality.

I used 1 brick of coir and two big hand fulls of straw that i cut into 1 inch pieces. I mixed the coir and straw into a tote. I soaked it for 24 hours. After 24 i squeezed it till there was a little bit of droplets. I put it all in a baking pan and covered it very well with aluminum foil. baked it at 200f for 3 hours. I put trash bag down and sprayed with lysol, waited like 10 mins and then pulled 4 jars of spawn out wbs. Then i layered and pushed down on the sub to pack it a little. I covered my holes and put in my grow area with has other tubs in it. They had light 12/12 and after the 10 days of colonization i went on a suprise trip and when i came back those were there.

Wow. F'n beautiful man, f'n beautiful. Congrats and thanks for sharing. =)
Couple questions tho - How big of a tub/tote is that? I ask because it looks a little smaller than what I usually see, and I'm considering doing multiple smaller ones instead of one big one but I'm not sure how big to make my holes if I downsize from the norm, and you're obviously doing something right so it just seems right to ask you. =)
So, what size are your holes if ya don't mind me asking, plus how many and where at? I can see you have at least 2 on the side there - maybe 3/4" or 1"?
I'd really appreciate your assistance - it'd be a huge help.

Imnot sure of the exact size of the holes but they are around 1/2 inch. There are six holes four around the sub and two neAr the top of the tub by the handles. Not sure about the tote size either just know that its smaller around the sides and taller in height. I have a 6500k light on12/12 during colonization and fruiting
To make my holes i take a regular steak knife and push and keep spinning it on the tote and it eventually makes a perfect hole

That is just outrageous.
Your setup is interesting. Are you around to fan and mist a lot, or is there any air pump/other type of setup going on?

Did you fan and mist a lot? Cause if the holes were covered the whole time, I don't see how it got fresh air. And it sure doesn't seem to be lacking anything!!

I actually didnt fan or mist at all. I was letting it colonize and at the 10 day mark I went on a trip and when I returned I had a huge cluster. Tgen I started fanning and misting
