on this website it says there are two active kinds of mushrooms in NY, so im just wondering is there any other active mushrooms in NY

hmm im not sure but i know there are pann subbs and liberty caps there might be some active gyms. but i dont know a whole lot about woodloving mushrooms. someone else might tho. peace

Stamet's book lists

Ps. luteonitens - unkown ACTIVITY
Ps. silvatica - ACTIVE, similar to P. pelliculosa
Ps. subviscida - NOT ACTIVE
Ps. thrausta - NOT ACTIVE

Pan. subbs definately grow in NY. liberty caps i guess too (?).

I wasn't aware that P. Semis grew in NY either, hmmm.. Gumby, MJ?

Only the Psilocybe silvatica and that would be an extemely rare shroom in the wild, unless there are clearcuts inthe woods with alder there. Then maybe wquatities. the other shrooms are not psychoactive.

You should check my paper Maping the Mycelial Network from TRP magazine at the information section here at the shroomery. It lists all species int he USA and Canada.
