More Arkansas Pics from Buddrow
    #1617246 - 06/07/03 10:32 PM (15 years, 15 days ago)

Unfortunately the sun baked most everything in the fields, but I found some interesting specimens in the wooded areas....

First a couple pics of what wasn't destroyed by the sun in the field....

These are growing under a tree in dead leaves and cow dung. The print is either white or didn't drop

Check out these cute lil buggers!!

I'll definately be keeping my eyes on these....

Damn my limit...more tomorrow

Im using a mediocre Kodak EasyShare XC4200. It was the best I could afford. It doesn't have an optical zoom, and I've discovered this to be a serious drawback. I wish it had some kind of stabilizing feature because I have a hard time holding the thing still and many pics come out blurred. I take many pics of each because of that. After I get home, I crop and resize so I can post as more pics.

Nice photos and specimens.

You should try to show us the underside to help with identification. Just pick one or two and put them on their side or upside down in the same photo.

The dark ones (fifth photo) are Cyathus stercoreus, Dung-Loving Bird's Nest Fungus.

Happy mushrooming!
