50 Shades of Grey: 1/10
Yeah, yeah I know - I flicked through it hoping for some fun sex scenes - but even those sucked.
I need to cleanse my cinematic palate with something else now

jackie brown - 9.5/10
one of my favorites, seen it tons of times, put it on for a girl the other night.
only complaint is it's a little long, but I think it's necessary. so, so good.
samuel jackson's character is the most intimidating character I've ever seen
his straight hair and that goat-tail man shit just has murder all over it.

I watched that movie with my mom on mothers day, she liked it, I've seen it many times and love it then I showed her a couple of archer episodes and she didn't like it as much but thought it was ok... I really like archer.
Last movie I watched was Ravenous 9/10

Inherent Vice
7/10
Based upon the book by Thomas Pynchon, and filmed by Paul Thomas Anderson, Inherent Vice chronicles the exploits of private detective Larry "Doc" Sportello, in a very complex, bizarre, even convoluted plot. I feel the movie fell a little flat, in that it lacked the pizzazz and sparkle of the book, which probably would be impossible to capture precisely for any director, given the way that Pynchon writes. Anderson was excellent as always, though, and the movie is fun, and well written, directed and acted. Joaquin Phoenix is, I think, perhaps one of the two or three best actors working today. He captured Doc's persona almost perfectly, and his performance is probably the best thing about the film. One glaring error to me is the soundtrack -- the book explicitly lists several of Pynchon's favorite tunes from the time -- late 60s, early 70s -- and this was completely ignored in the production of the film. Anderson could have gone really bonkers with a huge assortment of great music, but left this aspect of the book quite alone, for whatever reason.
All in all, flawed but recommended. Not P.T. Anderson's best by a longshot, but he is the director, after all, and always does at least good work.

Mad Max: Fury Road. 8/10
One evening, the gf and I decided we wanted go see a movie. There's this little cinema nearby, really old fashioned and cosy. We didn't really know which movie was going to be playing, so we let it surprise us. And surprised we were. I'm not normally into action flicks, but holy fuck, you can't help but feel pumped by this. This is the kind of stuff they should show to aspiring action movie directors and say "See this? THIS is how it's done!"
