Last night I got drunk and high and watched I spit on your grave from 2010 it’s a good movie I think it’s strange the rape people like to dehumanize there victims. I don’t understand why they enjoy breaking people down and acting all powerful I guess it’s a God complex. I guess they just don’t feel like they respected so they want to prove they can do what they anything they want. They think of her like a horse not a human when you think of someone as less than you or inhuman like an animal it would be easier to do what they do. I like that she gets revenge to bad that almost never happens. I think it would be funny for people like that to die in terrible ways. 5/5

i disagree. i would have more respect for someone if i thought of them as a wild animal instead of the shitbag they are.

I had guessed where it was going early on but guessing and seeing it, two very different things, felt horrid at the end.
There is a song titled "Speak No Evil" - I wonder if it suits the movie vibe? Can you verify?

Avatar 2: The Way of Water 1000000000 / 1000000000
This is the best movie Ive ever seen! Its literally lifechanging. Saw it in IMAX 3D on ~2grams of shrooms (perfect choice btw).
We start in the Water and we Return to the Water.

I was pretty disappointed with Avatar 2, so was my girlfriend.
I watched the first one properly for the first time on 3.5g Natalensis, on the very same day that I'd later watch Avatar 2 in the evening.
The first one was 100% the best movie I've ever seen. And with the mushrooms it was intense, I was feeling all emotions of the film. There was always something mindblowing to make you go whoa or holy shit! And the ending was so sooo perfect.
Avatar 2 was like they just went.. fuck it, just add guns, and water. There was really nothing special about it like the first one IMO.
I didn't watch it in 3D though, I think I might have appreciated it more if I did.
Anyway the last film I watched was Where The Crawdads Sing. Fucking awesome, loved it. 9/10

The Whale. 9/10, maybe 10/10? I’m a bit of an Aronofsky fanboy but I think this was one of his best. A heartbreaking, beautiful film.

Men (2/10)
By Alex Garland. Starring Jessie Buckley and Rory Kinnear.
Horror/suspense. Maybe more psychological horror. I'm a big fan of Buckley -- I think she's a phenomenally talented actress. I also liked Garland's series "Devs". Thought it was great. And the trailer for Men looked trippy. So I was looking forward to it. Oh, and it was A24. I've liked several A24 films.
Kinnear plays most of the characters in the film, which was different. He played the town cop, the owner of the estate Buckley's character was renting, the bartender at the local pub, the patrons of the pub, and even a young boy who had Kinnear's face CGI'd on.
For the majority of the movie, it was at least entertaining. Until the end. But the end was utterly bizarre, disturbing, and...well, just plain bad. Ruined the entire film for me. And the end drags for a while. I found myself just praying that it would hurry up and end, lol.
I like weird movies, but even this one was too weird and bizarre for me. Would not watch again.

I love this movie! The cryptic symbolism, the subject of UFOs and Abductions (which Jordan Peele is accurate and detailed about), the history of film making, the cinematography, the spooky eeriness, the acting and characters. So well done! I highly recommend it.
I need to watch this

Red Cliff 2009 10/10
It is a film based on the Battle of Red Cliff 208-209 AD. Phenomenal film that spends a lot of time focusing on strategy.

Also, The Menu 9/10

The Thin Man 1937 - An alcoholic detective on a honeymoon is called back to his post when the police suspect a murderer is more tricky than they can handle. Slap stick humor and period-fashion make this crime noir an entertaining addition to the genre. The detective's friends are also fun to watch as they cry, party and think themselves into a thick New York haze. 7/10
