I liked 28 Days Later quite a lot, would have to rewatch to tell you why though.  What zombie movies do you like?

idk, it just seemed really slow and uneventful, and I found the whole military camp situation in the second half was just kind of weird.

I know I've seen a couple zombie movies but so long ago that I just can't remember them. Zombie movies aren't entirely my thing, they're usually worse than most other horror movies imo. The only zombie movie I can think of off the top of my head is "Shaun Of The Dead" I really liked that one, but it was mostly a comedy, so idk if that even counts lol

Any recommendations?

28 days later fucking sucked.  Different director and the first one was good.  And to the new poster, post what you feel.  Network t.v. is shite or shit.  I stream Netflix, Hulu, and Showtime, HBO.  I can't stand commercials.  It breaks the flow when watching a movie and then seeing car or pharm pill commercials.

Ok, my bitching is over.  Welcome.  Just watched earlier in the day a movie called Memoria because it had James Franco in it.  Seeing it grossed two and a half grand in the U.S. that made me laugh. Not that it was a bad movie.

Is depressing as fuck.  I don't do spoilers and hate people that do but it is like taking an emotional sledgehammer that even though fucked up and making a beer run, I felt like shit.  I don't even want to rate this movie,  I just give it, you will feel like shit after seeing it.

I watched the trailer, I'm gonna add this one to my list too, looks interesting. I love me some James Franco too, I just watched 127 Hours the other week, pretty decent movie, can't believe that shit actually happened to someone lol

Yeah.  A hikers worse nightmare but a feel good story, this one will leave you emotionally wrecked and he just has probably 2 minutes screen time but I see why he was part of producing it.

He likes Cormac McCarthy the author and made a movie about one of his books about a man...  For those who read and watch film adaptions, if one can ever make one and get the funding for Red Meridian, my hats off to you.  One of the best historical and entertaining novels I have ever read.  Just read the book, you will get history.  I read this one two and Franco, the older one, was faithful to it so enjoy.  It was kind of boring in my opinion.

Watched "Grandma's Boy" today, some friends were talking about it the other night, and since I haven't seen it in a couple years I thought I'd watch it again.

Average movie, average comedy. The characters/acting was good, solid and somewhat unique plot line too. There are definitely a handful of funny moments too, I would recommend it for sure to those who have never seen it.

I rate it a 6/10. Wasn't as good/funny as I remembered it which was disappointing, but still pretty good nonetheless.

Jungle with the harry potter actor. was pretty good based on a true story so that was kinda cool too, 9/10.

Power Rangers (2017 or 18) was what you'd expect for an updated classic 90's show 7/10.
girlfriend tried to get me to watch the last unicorn last night 4/10, poor animation and annoying soundtrack, never finished it hopefully she sensed my lack of enjoyment and wont try to finish it with me tonight.

Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom    6.5/10

This movie was OK. It didnt engage me like Jurrasic World did. The storyline and action were just kinda "eh". First half of the movie was not good but the second half was much better. The ending is really cool. That was my favorite part. I wont spoil it for y'all, but lets just say they foreshadowed another movie coming out that will reflect the title of the series Jurrasic World. Very cool! I bet the third installment will be much better.

Untill then, Jurrasic World: Fallen Kingdom was pretty average, nothing really exciting.

Gangs of New York
7.5/10

This would easily be a 9 or 10 if not for the anticlimactic final battle between the butcher and Leo and their gangs.  Great movie otherwise

I Don’t Feel at Home in this World Anymore
8/10

I watched "Devil" today.

Interesting plot, but not all that memorable. Not a scary movie like I thought it was gonna be, but it was pretty good as a "whodunnit" which I guess was the point. Decent ending.

I give it a 6/10.

In my days as a child my parents had a VHS of One Hour Photo (2002). I remember always seeing the cover with Robin Williams conducting photography and was always curious about the contents of the film. Because it was rated R I was forbidden by my good parents to watch it.

I just recently stumbled upon this movie and forgot about that classic VHS cover I saw as a kid. I decided to give it a watch and my mind was augmented. Robin Williams was a brilliant actor. R.I.P. (8/10)

Watched "Jobs" today.

This movie was fantastic. Ashton Kutcher did an amazing job playing Steve Jobs. Speaking as a "millenial", it was really cool and moving to see the history of how Steve Jobs moved technology forward. I'm sitting there watching the movie on my Macbook, texting on my iPhone, with the overwhelming feeling of "this is all because of you". Beautiful irony of some sort lol

I have a lot of respect for him after seeing this movie, he was so inspiring, he had such vision. It was incredibly frustrating watching everyone around him do him wrong and not believe in him and his ideas in general.

I rate it an 8/10, great movie. I highly recommend it.
