Getting into the Westworld series and the Handmaidens tale. It's strange to spend 14 dollars on a 90 minute movie but can instead have a monthy subscription to such. Will still pay for Deadpool 2 at a place called Brewvies in Salt Lake City. They sent undercover cops paid to watch it and report and it went to court. It's kind of a tourist attraction now. They lost by the way and Ryan Reynolds even donated to the fight against the idiots that run Utah in the court case. Tax money is so idiotically used here.
Will spend a twenty watching it with two steins of beer with a clonazepam dropped in each one. Chemistry is amazing.

Deadpool 8/10
I really enjoyed this different type of Marvel movie. A fucked up type if u will. Refreshing. Jokes were really clever and well written, the editing/plotline is crazy, and seeing the whole backstory of Deadpool is really interesting.
I thought the jokes were going to be terrible, since the trailer i saw had cringy jokes. But the actually movie is way better than the preview i saw years ago.
The whole movie is like a fucked up romantic comedy
I docked it a couple points cause its so God damn disgusting on some parts. Just my personal preference for less gore. Awesome movie, cant wait to see Deadpool 2 in the theaters.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Have watched it over a hundred times. Should be a prescribed medicine when one feels trapped in society. And yes, when starts a large drug collection....

Blade Runner
couldn't even finish it
4/10
the 4 is for the visuals and the soundtrack.
basically, here is my review for what i could stand to watch:
Cain is stilted save in interrogation- sour edits during scene reviewing recorded interrogation with enemy
Scene with Chinese researcher is stilted and comical, when it's comedy is not great. Awkward. For no reason other than it's underacted. Second flight scene, unnecessary. If I want to hear the soundtrack, I can listen to it in full- no need to cram in unneeded scenes for it's sake, or if so (for the visual appeal), fine, but some better edits (and less face shots and needless replays of the sam e pyramid building over and over [the first time was enough] would've been less heedless, for the sake of those flying over city shots)
Speaking of Vangelis...amazing, however. Perfectly accentuates the sort of "visual" appeal (as it is mainly it's prime showing, the sets, the great camera work, etc), the piano adds a nice layer of emotional depth to otherwise spacey thrombs and such. The replicant lady, is great. That part of the story, is great. Her abode is one of immense set-design and is one of the greatest rooms ever in a movie.
Like Alien, the set-design is magnificent to n-th degree.
basically, i watched twice- the second time i liked it more- i was paying more attention, less high and stuff, generally, i like the visuals and the story- but boy is there alot of problems here, in my opinion. can't even get too the magnificent ending (which is climactic enough, and with that performance at the end- one of the only good performances is the two male replicants and the female rich replicant in the beginning.

Ugghh. The new Blade Runner just came out on HBO and I made it half way through, if even that. It is almost three hours and the pacing of it is like watching a glacier move. I don't care about how great the special effects are. Plus why did Leto play these great characters now he just takes the big checks in horrible movies?
So I just got drunk and watched Sideways again. Not one CGI moment in it and actually interesting and relatable characters. T.H.Church and Giamatti have great chemistry together and getting ready for some vacations it gets me going. We all have friends like that but I love how selfish they are but still accept each other.

A classic. Coen bros. are awesome.
Annihilation
9/10
Pretty good movie, I liked Ex Machina more, which was done by the same director. The pacing was a little weird, but all in all every facet was well done. Unfortunately, I found the ending a bit predictable, but oh well. I will say that movies these days rely way too heavily on CGI. After all this time, it still doesn't look quite right. But I guess the genie is out of the bottle.

The television series Fargo was surprisingly good. 3 seasons with different plots and time frames but all thread with each other and the movie. The villains were exceptional.
