Amazing. Thriller. Dark. Fucked up. Gore.
With John Travolta.
I thought Travolta was washed up for sure, but then he does this movie. WTF, that rocked!
Respect for Travolta and the Idle Hands kid.
Can't tell if you are serious or retarded. I gave it 3/10 this decades the Room but not as fun. It just sucked, sucked ass. Fred Durst must not direct again. If you want to portray a autistic person from now on the sage advice is to go watch Rain man but

Great movie. Glad you saw Holy Mountain its insane I'm trying to get my local theater to screen it

Prisoners of the Ghostland (2021) new Nic Cage film directed by Japanese cult director Sion Sono (Love exposure, Cold Fish, Antiporno etc) and co starring Bill Mosley (TCM 2, Devils Rejects). It was ok some trippy mad max type sets and Asian weirdness, its still kinda slow paced. Not as good as Mandy, but better than Willie's Wonderland I caught a sneak preview last week. Samurais and post apocalyptic cults 7/10

Fubar was filmed in my city. You can still see guys like that around, Fubar 2 where they go work in alberta's oil patch is even better (they do LSD in it too)
This week I watched some good ones:
Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) 10/10 Serio Leone's western masterpiece
The Dirty Dozen (1967) 8/10 Damn good movie where some convicted army criminals are givena chance to have sentences commuted if they go on a suicicde mission to attack a party of high ranking nazis in the German countryside.
Judgement at Nuremberg (1961) 8/10 Courtroom drama about trying some nazi judges, who didnt actually commit war crimes themselves, but made rulings based on Nazi created laws.
Samurai Rauni (2016) 6/10 A Finnish Samurai movie. Few ok scenes but kind of lacking
Detour (1945) 8/10 classic film noir about a guy down on his luck who makes a bad decision that creates a series of misfortunes.
The Great Escape (1963) 9/10 At first I was a bit turned off by the hogans heroes type of comedic nazi prison guards, but it takes a turn for the serious with a high body count. The tunnel is freaking awesome
La Ceremonie (1995) 8/10 A timid housekeeper for a rich family out in the boonies becomes friends with a marxist/feminist she meets in town who fills her head with ideas of revolution.
First Bllod (1982) 8/10 The first rambo movie, a classic.
Wild at heart (1990) 8/10 before david lynch went weird for weird's sake he made a few movies that were actually accessible and made sense, like this.

Still working on seeing every Kubrick movie
The Killing (1956)
This one influenced pretty much every heist movie that came after. Perfect film 10/10

Paths of Glory (1957)
Kubrick makes another war movie where its like 2 movies in one. Great ww1 battle sequence, in the days before CGI 9/10 fucking fantastic

Nice. I need to see Barry Lyndon but i don't want to download some compressed torrent i am going to wait until i can afford Criterion blu ray.
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
8/10 So far my favorite movie of 2022, i haven't seen too many yet though. Chinese woman has the power to travel to any possible multiverse world, it was actually really good and trippy and also hit me in the feels, which is hard to do as my heart is made of stone

I love Liztomania, seeing every Ken Russell flick is another of my cinema goals.
Thief (1981) First time viewing, in honor James Caan's passing last week. I'm giving it a 9/10, awesome tangerine dream score, the movie is about a big well planned heist. Violent, and well written I loved it

I also watched Men (2022) which rustled some dude's jimmies because the plot revolves around toxic masculinity. I don't care s much about that, its the ending I didn't like I heard it was reminiscent of The Thing but only really only in visual style, it was kind of empty. It starts out as a kind of folk horror type of film, a women alone in a rural cottage recovering from end of her marriage, but the farther she runs from abusive men, the more horrible dudes she meets. My buddy says its pure man hate, but its directed by a dude. 6/10
