Tammy 7/10

Was pretty funny and a feel good movie in general. Went in expecting a couple laughs and was pleasantly satisfied. Susan Sarandon doesn't really seem old enough to be the grandmother and the mother was a weird casting choice but I did enjoy the love interest.

I decided to watch this instead of dawn of the planet of the apes and believe I chose right.

Captain America: Civil War

7/10

It was cool, although I only watched about twenty minutes. Just fast forwarded and watched the fight scenes

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter 5.5/10

Awful, retarded movie. But at least it wasn't too boring - non-stop violence and "tension". Was pretty much exactly what I expected it to be.

Easy Money (1983)

Great comedic movie, politically incorrect, unapologetic, some decent nudity. Rodney Dangerfield and Pesci are in their prime.

8/10

Waynes World 9/10 (1992)

Went to a showing of this old classic. The best of the SNL movies - lots of laughs, amusement and memorable lines. One of my favourite movies.

 Have you seen any of the movies based on Paganini?
The Devil's Violinist was a bit cheeseballish, but the one that starred Klaus Kinsky wasn't bad, though I haven't seen it since I was a kid.
The one based on Lead Belly wasn't bad, either, if you can forgive some of the speculative creative liberties that were inevitably taken to fill in some of the biographical gaps.

No I have not, but I find classical music to be very much like the grateful dead, both bring me stillness, so am kind of immersing myself in it recently.  I will check those movies out though.

It's back in theaters correct?

No, not really. It was just a stand alone theatre that often plays old movies.

Oh, maybe it is in a bunch of theatres. Yeah, it was for it's 25th anniversary.

Space Jam 8/10 - pretty amusing, I like watching flicks from the 90's because the vibe was so different

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back 10/10 - Such a classic. There were scenes/cuts in the movie that I had no memory of before. Haven't seen this one in a long time, I suppose.

Dr. Strange 7.5/10

Pretty decent super hero movie. The visual effects were really cool. The boss battle and the ending left a little to be desired.

Wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Went with my nephew. Not the worst way to spend 1 hour and a half.

Hey man, I've been completely awful . Sometimes great. Restless. Happy.

I've made a return to the Shroomery after promising myself I would stay away from here for a few years because it has interfered with my life in the past, but I'm here and I'm not out of control yet, so we'll see how it goes. I did miss this place.

I see a lot of familiar faces which is cool - lavod?? thought he was a goner.. Jokeshopbeard.. MarkosTheGnostic, redgreenvines, etc etc.. yourself

Anyhow,

the last movie I watched was "Masterminds" a really silly comedy with Zack Galifianakis. Watched it with my sis and my nephew - my nephew was laughing like crazy. This was my second time watching it and made me laugh quite a bit too.

7/10

Life of the Party (2018)

3.5/10

I was looking for something lighthearted on Netflix and Melissa McCarthy is sometimes funny but damn this movie was pointless and way too long and anti-climatic. It's about a middle aged woman who gets divorced and then decides to return to college, where her daughter happens to be a student. Her love interest is a boy in his late teens who inexplicably finds Melissa McCarthy smoking hot.
