Trouble germinating sclerotia spores - need advice

Hey all, Im having trouble germinating tampanensis and galindoii spores I am using prints acquired from other growers, not vendor prints. They both came from reputable growers. They are no more than 1 year old. I initially tried germinating them on malt yeast agar (premixed agar from a reputable vendor, plates poured myself) with no joy. I have successfully germinated PE and APE on the same agar mix from the same pour/set of plates as well as several successful clones/isolations on the same.... I recently attempted my first grain spawn grow and am using wheat as it is the only grain available cheap in my area. Grain was prepared using Stonesuns grain prep tek from his sclerotia growing guide. I multispore inoculated 9 jars; 3 each of P. Tampanensis, P. Galindoii and Pan Cambo Sandose. I prepared the syringes myself in a glovebox, all had visible spores in them. The Pans have taken to the wheat quite well (already at 50% colonisation in 2 jars, 3rd is at around 25%) but the stone growers still will not germinate. I have kept them in incubation which has maintained 65f-75f temp. My jars are 2 weeks old and there are no signs of contam in any of my jars. This tells me 2 things: my wheat IS a suitable grain for growing on (for the cambos at least) and I am not suffering from contam issues (yet, fingers crossed). My next step will be trying an LC with LME and Dextrose and/or potato dextrose agar plates. Is this a more suitable germinating medium? Is there a possibility that all my spores are sterile? I have talked with a few people and they all seem to be having the same trouble so Im thinking there might be a whole bunch of sterile prints getting around. Anyone else had this problem? What other mediums have people had luck germinating sclerotia spores with? Any advice or suggestions are welcome....
Thanks guys and gals

I'm having the same problems with a tampanesis print.
Freebie from a great member here.
I tried 3 different types of agar, tried LC, Tried straight to grain (popcorn) tried pressurizing them to forcibly hydrate them.
Nothing.
I think they're just dead spores.
Malt-Yeast Agar should be perfectly fine. That was my first try. You shouldn't need anything special for either of those species.
If I were you I'd probably give them one more try and then start looking for a new print.

I used a malt/dextrose/gypsum LC and it worked very well.
