i found a strain of mushroom growing in patties under some trees in this field in louisiana ...this field i have heard from some of my friends use to have tons of mushrooms about a year ago when they last went... well i went out there the other day after it rained alot and found them patties and took one home ...well the mushrooms growing out of them looked mostly like the b+ strain exect these shroom caps werent even 1/4 the size of a penny or smaller (seemed like babies) ...my friend said they look like the ones they have eaten out there before but they werent that small...well i got that pattie on my back porch...i took a froom shrooms from the pattie before i spread the pattie in the pan i have and i set those tiny shroom in a plast container and they bruised blueish, purplish, blackish after 20 - 30 minutes of sitting there...i added a picture if found online of what i can most closely desribe this shroom as except the ones i found weren more than an inch tall or shorter ...i may have just had babie shrooms?? you think??well ill find out tomorrow if new ones start popping out and grow bigger.. these shrooms that i found are more pointed than the picture and a little darker brown color than these in the picture shroudofpride@hotmail.com

ummmmm...the shrooms in the picture are cultivated cubes...

if what you found are wild shrooms, and they look kind of like that, then maybe they look like this?

or this?
or one of these?

there is nothing we can really do with that post of yours, except tell you that the only active that grow from cow dung in louisiana are p.cubensis and occasionally in the south Cop. cyanescens.

which look like these: http://mushroomjohn.com/species6a.htm
