I have 5 rye grain jars of Panaeolus Cambodginiensis (Goliath) ready to be spawned to substraight. Actually 1 jar will be used for a G2G transfer so I have 4 to spawn. What I need help with is growing from this point here is the plan if there is any mistakes please let me know so I can have a good successful first grow...
The substraight I will be using is store bought steer manure from home depot mixed 50/50 with vermiculite and a little coir to fluff up the mix I am not sure if i should ph the substraight or add any gypsum.
The casing layer will be added at 1/4" and ph set to between 7.5 and 8
My growing chamber is a martha style chamber with two cool mist humidifiers and a humidity controller. My question here is will the humidifiers provide enough FAE or should I have my 2 computer fans bring in air for 15 Min's every 4 hours since my humidity controller will bring the humidity back up to 90% fairly quickly. 90% is where it should be if I am not mistaken.
Thanks for all your help this Process would be impossible for me with out it!!

I don't have any really direct knowledge about marthas but I have heard that the humidifiers are not for FAE just humidity. Adding fans or even just leaving a slit in the bottom of the tent will help.

You could check the pH of the manure you use if you're in doubt, and then take corrective measures if necessary. I don't think it will be.
You should also study these threads by the shroomery admin called Stonesun. They demonstrate you don't need a 'hightech' setup to grow pans. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/15268131 http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/14817291 http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/15449104
good luck with your grow!!!

I understand I don't need a 'high tech' setup to grow pans. I am just using the setup I have for cubs. With this set up I just put the colonized substrate in and for get about it I dont have to is and fan. My last flush of penis envy got me about 2 1/2 oz dry. So I am happy with the results considering I dont have to do anything just wait to harvest.
But thank you for the reply and the links I am looking at them now.
