What does the psychedelic community think in regards to legal iv houses like the Insite Vancouver? Also, what about mushroom centers? Celebrity Joe Rogan pushes a psychedelic experience center for people to be introduced to the effects of mushrooms. Could that ever take off?

the idea is worth discussing but no, i find that impossible in our current situation, nor do i even think it's something neccessary. there are iv dope users, yes, and trying to offer them the safest means of operation seems to be the most moral thing to do. however the gov makes more cash off it being illegal and distributing covertly than having "free heron dopehouse tickets"

well they dont have the dope there man. they just exchange needles. i think its a great idea. gets needles off the streets and stops the spread of diseases. and these diseases can spread to non dope users. remember that. the psychedilic thing is overboard. thats what festivals are for. i mean who wants to have there first experiences with psychedlics in a hospital or under watch by a stranger.

Yes, in many models, they do give out heroin.
This is a "harm reduction" method where users can enroll and receive injectable heroin in a supervised setting. Some studies suggest that overall, these programs are cost effective.
I don't believe such programs would ever be accepted by the public in the U.S. and I don't believe a similar "psilocybin house" would work. The public would never condone nor accept socially subsidized "drug use".
Perhaps someday an established medical use for psilocybin could be achieved, and then it may be administered legally, but it would be under the guise of a "medical use".

I would imagine these mushroom houses would be run by a couple of hippies and be very relaxed environment, some music, been bag chairs, and cool stuff to look at. idk thats just what i picture when i think of that, would be pretty sweet though
