Another rant about JFK and the government's credibility
    #1615148 - 06/06/03 06:14 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

To anyone who knows anything about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, it's more than obvious that there is a cover up. Depending on how much you know about it, you know that there was and is conspiracy at the federal level.

Take a moment to let that sit in your mind.

Now let me ask you a question. How can you believe anything the government says once you realize that they lied and covered up the MURDER OF THE FUCKING PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

The reason I bring up the JFK cover up again is because it's the BIGGEST lie and the easiest to prove.

Why do you still trust your government? Especially if you believe that there is a conspiracy against other things such as marijuana/hemp, UFO's, RFK, MLK etc. etc..

How can you trust and support the same entity that is dragging this country even further into the sewer?

JFK was before my time, but reading some on america, and its history, and the present situation, i fail to see how this corruption could not be blatant?

Your parents most likely told you there was a Santa Claus.

Does that mean everything they've told you is a lie?

And for the record.... I do believe there was more than one shooter.

I heard (but I don't know if it's true) that JFK was talking about pulling our advisors out of Vietnam. After LBJ took over the Gulf of Tonkin incident was manufactured and the rest is history (and a lot of profit for the military industrial complex).

How can you equate the tradition of parents lying to their kids about a little thing like Santa Claus and the cover up of the MURDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?

And BTW, most parents admit that there's no Santa when the kid gets a little older. Our government still to this DAY lies about JFK.

Why aren't you extemely hesitant about believing anything that the government says?

Perhaps I just have a better outlook on life.

I don't automatically think everything said by anyone is a lie.

I don't automatically think everything said by anyone is true.

I feel bad for those who do.

It doesn't have anything to do with an outlook on life really.

If you found out that someone you knew stole your car(JFK), and you have strong suspisions that he also stole your computer(marijuana) why would you continue to give this person the benifit of the doubt? Why would you let him sleep on your couch?

Have you heard of a concept called plausible deniability? The president doesn't know everything the CIA or FBI knows, so when you say "the government" has been lying to us, who exactly are you talking about? The government is not one person, but several.

Until someone from our federal government tells us the truth about AT LEAST the JFK situation, then noone in the government has any credibility in my eyes.

By staying silent, they are all complicit in my eyes.
Also, until they legalize AT LEAST marijuana, then they are all feeding off the blood of the citizens of this country and therefore deserve neither my respect or trust.

Few, if any people in the government know what happened in the JFK assassination, so to say they are all guilty is ludicrous. Also, the CIA has, over time, declassified many documents regarding the assassination. But each time they do, the information doesn't seem to bring us any closer to the truth. It only leads to more questions and speculation. As for marijuana, ask Tom Campbell(California State Legislator) what he thinks about that.

Noone in the government makes any effort to find any real true with reguard to the assassination and the cover up. Therefore they are not doing their job. Therefore they are just as guilty.

If you still trust the US government after thinking about what has happened with Kennedy, then there is nothing really left to say. Just........go back to sleep.

This planet is fucking hopeless.

That's your problem: You see it one entity. I see that it's made up of many parts. For the most part, I do not trust "the government," but I don't think that just because someone is in the government that they're inherently untrustworthy. I myself was once a government employee, working for the California Water Resources Control Board, and I can assure you that I don't know much more about the JFK assassination than you.

I'm not trying to say EVERYONE who works for "the government" knows what happened. But I believe that there is corruption at the highest levels of every department which makes it impossible for the truth to be known.

Couldn't someone investigate why JFK's autopsy photos were doctored or why Lee Harvey Oswald was quickly written off as the lone gunman when Kennedy's fatal head shot came from the front?

Noone asks any questions. Oswald is the lone gunman and that's that.

I agree totally. It is high time people wake the fuck up and stand against this clear history of lies and coverups.

Only fools deny a truth that stares them in their face screaming to be heared.

Only fools trust anyone who has lied to you before.

I personally believe that anyone in a position to uncover a lie or coverup has a civic and moral responsibility to do so or they are just as guilty by default.

You make a good point learyfan. One that its high time people listened to.

Thanks.

Sometimes I feel like i'm in Alice in Wonderland where everything is backwards.

It drives me up a wall, because it's not like i'm the smartest guy. I don't think it takes a very smart guy to see that you don't trust a government who covered up the murder of the President along with a ton of other shit that they've done.

How many people in the government do you think know the truth about the JFK assassination? The reason I ask is that the more people that are involved in a conspiracy, the harder it is to keep under wraps. If there's a lot of people in on it, then somebody will inevitably squeal.

I think there are very very few people still left in office that actually knew what happened.

But it's STILL being covered up!

Until we can find out what happened with JFK, who among us is safe? There aren't many bigger issues that I can think of.

So why isn't someone in some part of the government trying to set this straight?

I think I agree with the idea that politicians in general are crooks and untrustworthy.

The permanent government people are as honest as anybody else. Which means there's some crooks and cheaters out there, but there are also a few who are more honest than average.

It makes for amusing spectacle when a politician suggests that some FBI or CIA agents are lying. Given the choice, I know which ones I'm more likely to believe.

I don't know what you're trying to say, but it sure would be nice for some of those so-called honest politicians or FBI or CIA guys to try and solve this terrible crime and set the record straight.

Cause by not doing shit, they might as well have been involved.
