how many cc's per jar

if i have a 12 cc syringe should i innoculate 12 jars spreading one cc evenly in each jar- or should i do 6 jars putting 2cc's in each if im using 1/2 pint jars-i recently did 12 jars and 9 days after innoculation- theres not very much sign of colonization- a few spots on some of the jars...

I use 1cc per 1/2 pint jar. That's about right :grin:

check out the honey tek if you would like faster colonization and multiply your 12cc syringe by a few times

I've used a 12 cc syringe to innoculate 12 PF jars with 4 holes and it took less then 1month with temps between 75-80F. The syringe was clear too.

1cc per jar will work and be fastest if split 1/4cc per hole, at least in my experience.

Honey tek is the best way to maximize the original syringe's capability to innoculate the most jars though.
