Does anyone have a twitter?
I used to knock it so bad, like "Ohh Twitter is so gay!"
Especially when I heard these two 12 year old girls going "LIke Omg! You have a twitter?! Follow me!!!!"
I was like
Then my cousin had to get a twitter for college. ( I don't know why )
So she told me to sign up so she could have 5 followers. So I did, and followed her on it. Then I got to playing around and followed readers digest, writers digest, CNN, fox 23 news, and Author house. I added them to my favorites and watch list.
It's actually a good networking site.
So anyone here actually use twitter, or do ya'll hate it as much as you hate Facebook?

First I promised myself not to make a facebook...and i did. Everyone has been saying lately that facebook 'is so 2000-late'...and that twitter is the new thing. I refuse to make one..but will probably end up cracking.

I made one when I first heard about it, looked around for like 5 min then never logged back on. It just doesn't interest me at all - I don't have anything to say that people are gonna wanna read on there and I don't wanna read everyone else's winging. It just seems to be like a facebook status update without the rest of facebook.

Man, I fucking love twitter. It is like a constant feed of cool info depending on who you follow.
It actually has been really useful in times of chaos. When the earthquake struck here two years ago the radio and twitter were the fastest ways of news delivery.

Then just don't follow boring people. I mostly follow news and funny article websites to be informes of news. Following cool artists is also fun, some of them make a real effort to keep up with their followers questions and stuff. You don't have to tweet yourself either.

I guess I'm looking at it too much like a socialise with friends site. Might have another look around it soon - cool that you can kinda use it like stumbleupon to find neat stuff

I had all of those social networks through high school and the first year of college. I ended up deleting/removing/quitting all of them.
Something drew me back to Twitter about a month ago. I'm not sure what. It's the only one I truly use these days. It still annoys me to read everyone's depressing/bitchy posts but I am following a lot of professional web development/designers, programmers, and graphic artists that post links to amazing articles.

I have it, but I don't think I've actually made a tweet.
It's pretty useful if you want to stay up to date with artists, news, and people your actually interested in hearing about. I've found a bunch of awesome articles and music from twitter so I think it's cool for that. Other than artists and news and things I only follow 2 people who are friends that I hang out with regularly and I even find their updates annoying to read
I also have facebook but only use it to stay in touch with friends and make plans to hangout and stuff.
