Quick Casing Question

As I said, a friend cased two BRF cakes. The casing has a thin layer of wet verm, then the cakes spread evenly, then a 1/3 of a moist inch layer of coco/verm. After only a day, some bright nickel sized patches of myc are coming up. There are around seven of these and they are getting bigger every few hours. I was wondering if I should patch these spots with more casing or should I start giving it light and begin the fruiting process? I originally was going to let it heal for like 3 days, but it seems to be ready to fruit at those spots. What do I do next?

Some look really ropey (rhizos right?). Others look really furry. They are getting bigger really quick, I just checked and there are maybe twice as many patches and the original ones have doubled in size. They are really healthy looking (not overlay yet I don't think). I am thinking I should patch them, it was a pretty thin casing layer.

Should I patch everything or just where there is myc? If I only patch where there is myc, then it won't be even. If I patch everything there will be thicker casing over uncolonized parts? Just wondering what everyone else does?

i would personally deep scratch the top casing layer and recase with a 1/2 inch - inch, casing top layer.
btw, look here for pix on cobweb:

I scratched a bit off in order to be able to patch the casing while reaplying an even casing layer. And then I sprayed a bit of h202 solution over that and put it back in the chamber. In like a day I am going to start giving it light to initiate pinning and such.
