hunting arrowheads or flint? I am a wee bit south of Atlanta/Metro area and am already familiar with a couple places, including Chattahoochee Bend and other surrounding areas. Anyone know of any other places around that area that are good arrowhead hunting spots?

learn the history of where the old indian camps were, just about any stream is good but a toss up, ask farmer's permission to comb the fields after fall plowing. be aware of the laws too, depending on what designation of land you're on. i know that in nat forest land you are supposed to leave any artifacts on the ground, even if found while mining or rockhounding.
