Kratom vs Other Opiates

Kratom is the only opiate I've ever tried...
So I was wondering, what would 10grams-ish of bali be comparable to?

Kratom isn't an opiate i believe...i think i heard it is not but has opiate-like feelings.

i don't really like kratom. it makes me feel sick for the duration of the experience, and i've tried many varieries/methods. the least nausea was with the capsule method, but it still is not enjoyable. it was helpful in getting off opiates once though, when the nausea from withdrawl was already there and the kratom reduced it. i'll take a mellow dilaudid overdose any day over the nausea from kratom.

I'm not an expert on opiates (I consider myself lucky), but 10 grams of bali kratom definitely gets me to the land of nod, especially if I smoke a bit of reef.
The synergy is just,
I certainly do get nausea if I get up for extended periods on high doses so kratom is best experienced when you just lay there. It also caused me to projectile vomit one time after I had tried to take kratom and I had a few beers beforehand. Afterwords, I was glad the beer was out of my stomach and I continued to gobble the kratom.

Ewww those are some nasty side effects for a subtle nod. Find a site that sells poppy pods purely for decoration and has no idea bout there other uses. They'll sell them for dirt cheap.

for me it's the horrible taste/aftertaste, and the stomach irritation. it produces a nod well enough, but i can't let my mind wander when i'm so miserably sick. laying down on my back helps a little with kratom, but not enough. laying down on a true opiate stops the nausea completly for me though, unless i've taken way too much. i even did pod putty(to the point of 12 grams every night) and then pod tea for months after that. i'm not addicted anymore, but i still enjoy occasionally and i have always loved the smell of the pod putty evaporating in the house, or the taste of it. everyone says that they can't stand the taste of the tea, but i would rather drink it over coffee or even chocolate.

never threw up from kratom usually take about 5-7 grams of bali on an empty stomach no problems only thing I noticed is somewhat of a hot flash like a niacin flush if I redose and yes cannabis ehnances the effects.

i never thew up on it either, but the intensity of the nausea is unbearable. i'd be fine if i could just barf and have a good time after, but that doesn't happen for me, just hours and hours of wishing i was dead.
i do have a weak stomach, and i'm allergic or sensitive to all kinds of foods that normal people can eat.

I could do that but I enjoy kratom's unique features.
Besides, I only use it on rare occasion and I haven't done some over a year now.

kratom gives the nod, but not as good as other opiates, and it doesn't give that warm blanket feeling that you never want to lose.

Kratom is most enjoyable for me if I take an average to light dose with a heavy amount of cannabis edibles. If not, I get pretty bad nausea.
I think I prefer opiates, but I feel like kratom has less of a risk for addiction. If I were trying to kick an opiate habit, I would take a serious look at weening with kratom and then going cold turkey after a dose of ibogaine.

I read that as "cold turkey after a dose of bologna"

Low doses are great, they give you energy with reduced anxiety.
