Unless your printing it, yes you can harvest.

It's fine to harvest and eat.  If you're harvesting for potency always pick right when the veil breaks.

The mycelium fuzz is caused by lack of fresh air exchange

Looks like it's already producing spores.

You could probably get a decent print right now.

Pick the big one,  dunk and put them back in the FC

Try fanning a little more often.

You should have a better second flush.

Thanks guys for the help!
theres a bubbler under perlite; would that cause enough FAE if one was to remove tape from some of the holes in the lid of the chamber

No.

Fish tank bubblers absolutely suck at providing fresh air.

Build a standard SGFC following the directions you can find in a hundred places on this site.

Holes in all six sides.

we built sgfc, just no holes in the bottom. we thought maybe the bubbler would do the trick as we are not home for the 9-5....hmmmm

The way to tell if it's cobweb is to give it 24 hours, and if it hasn't colonized nearly the entire cake, it isn't cobweb.  That mold spreads very fast, but IMO, it looks just like cube mycelium.  Fan and mist, you'll be okay.

Ditch the airstone, drill a lot of holes in the bottom, raise it a few inches off the ground on some bricks or old books or something,  let the natural convection supply the airflow.

You'll be fine if it has to go 8 hours without fanning.

If you've got holes taped up,  remove the tape a few holes at a time until your humidity starts to drop too low.  (Judging by the fuzzy stems you've got plenty of humidity.)

feel like im hijacking my own topic, but any who, with the holes in the bottom do i have to worry about water leaking when i rehydrate perlite

Perlite shouldn't be so wet that it's dripping out the bottom.  you don't want any standing water in the bottom to breed bacteria.

Take the whole FC to the bathtub and wet it down there,  let it drain.

Maybe put a plastic garbage bag down on the floor to catch any drips.

No bubblers.... Drill holes in the Bottom of your SGFC. The SGFC was constructed to go 12-14 hours without any maintenance at all. I've even worked 16 hour days and had no problems fruiting.

Its not Cobweb it is indeed Mycelium, increase your Fresh Air Exchange.
