I have got to get my outdoor grow to do that next year. I get enough but never more than enough like you. Great job.

wow, i've only looked this thread in the beginning before any pin and now BOOM!!! how amazing job josh! must be very fun to undertake it! =) it's also nice to see brazilian fungi growing in US territory... the take over begins!!! it was our military strategy anyways to break into US. sooner or later, after eating such mushrooms people will become all cucarachos-like and will start listening to samba and to be laaazy assed persons like the average brazilians... then lula is going to assume the charge of president of the united states of america.

Or it could work the other way around. The Brasilians will see what a cool American guy I am and start to adopt some of the better American qualities I have. They will then return to Brasil where they will spread wonderful ideas and make make Brasil more Joshua-like...
...damn!!! either way I am scared!

huauhahuahuahuahuahua it would be lovely if the brazilians had the same blue thumb as you! one of these days i saw a BR shroom forum, the picture section is a pity. =)
don't be scared friend, you're the proud father of perfect fungi and a great knowledge spreader, which are very nobel qualities. i'm sure many people in many countries grow better and better because of you, or stimulated by you (or other fellows). =)
i'd get scared if the azure patch starts to munch on the wooden fence or the surrounding houses, i wouldn't doubt that!
this is why i love the shroomery. here people SHARE information, on other forums it doesn't seems to happen so easily. keep on pumping!

This is a bump to let everyone in the Pacific Northwest know that outdoor cubensis have been picked.
GSAfarmer, the overacheiver that he is, picked his first outdoor fruits last week!!!
So study up and prepare your beds, ???Cause el shrooms!!!!
And a pic to show how cold my set-up got over the winter.

Hmmm...I wonder what strain shall be cultivated this year?

Glad to see you're re-opening this thread. How might one dry so many beautiful specimens? Not that you do of course... *bows with respect*

One would pre-dry with a box fan outdoors and crisp up with a dehydrator indoors and or desicant.

There are a lot of factors involved. In a lab I imagine it can survive near freezing temps.
The problem is that in the wild other organisms will use the cubensis mycelium as their own substrate. So in effect it is not the temps that kill it but the other organisms that flourish at lower temps.
