This is my first mushroom hunt, hoping to find some turkey tail. For now though, I take pictures of whatever I can find.
Species 1: Fomes Fomentarius?

Habitat: Wood, growing on the trunk of a dying tree I believe.
Gills: very small, tight pores, brownish-pink
Stem: none.
Cap: about 5cm across
Spore print color: white
Bruising: it bruised me trying to rip it off.
Location: North East Coast America (south-east Quebec)
I'm pretty sure I've identified this one correctly.
Species #2: Piptoporus betulinus/Birch Polypore.

Habitat: Wood, I believe it was birch, I didn't pick it and wasn't there when it was picked.
Gills: pores were brown. On most ID pictures they're white. Is it because of age?
Stem: 2-3cm
Cap: about 25cm across
Spore print color: brown
Bruising: none
Location: North East Coast America (south-east Quebec)
I'm pretty sure I've identified this one correctly as well. It smells strong and the smell is really nice.
Species #3

Habitat: Wood, not sure what type as my mother picked this one and I wasn't there to see.
Gills: pores, a bit bigger than #1
Stem: none.
Cap: about 2-3cm across. They grow one of the other, clusters of 2-3 caps.
Spore print color: wasn't able to get a spore print off this one, it was very dry.
Bruising: -
Location: North East Coast America (south-east Quebec)
Species #4
This one was pretty dried out and damaged, probably from last season, but I *think* it may be turkey tail, but it seems too damaged to be identifiable.

Habitat: Dying wood, (I wasn't the one that picked it so no picture.
Gills: damaged.
Stem: none.
Cap: about 3-4 cm across.
Spore print color: too dry
Bruising: -
Location: North East Coast America (south-east Quebec)
Species #5 Fomitopsis pinicola?

Habitat: Wet rotting wood. (woodland again)
Gills: porous, white
Stem: none.
Cap: about 3-4 cm across. A bit slimy.
Spore print color: didn't pick it
Bruising: -
Location: North East Coast America (south-east Quebec)

looks good to me.

Species #3
Looks like Trametes to me. It had a lateral attachment and white/grey pileus. Polypores in your neck of the woods are pretty neat.

Species #4
Trametes again, Turkey tail.

Species #5 Fomitopsis pinicola?
looks similar, but I'm not really sure. Polypores in the young stage can be tricky. Your second photo looks close to Fomitopsis pinicola.
Excellent post and pictures!

3 looks like Trichaptum. Need more tree details to help tell which one on several Trichaptum sp that grow in your area..

Thanks for the replies. I'll definitely go back soon and post some more, it's my new obsession.
Quick question; when they're dry such as specimen #3, do they revive when the right conditions are met, or are they pretty much done for?

#3 is lastsyears stuff. It will not get much better if it rains etc, just have to wait for more. Other polypores continue to grow every year. It really depends on which you found.
