Hy-Pods + casings expirement

this one goes out to all of you with hydra-pods or a homemade version
ive been considering building a homemade pod for a while now, but the problem is, i like caseings.. not cakes...
the homemade pod seems to provide good humidity + excellent freshair... automation ahhh.....
but on top of all that, the geolite has the benifit of being able to wick up moisture into the "cake" constantly feeding it what it needs most....
thats nice and all for cake users, but i find that casings are alot more fun to play around with.. (not to mention better yeilds)
so heres an idea for people wiht pods that do casings......

cut small holes in the bottem of the casing tray 1 in diamater
or small slits 4in x .5in
then cover the bottem with foil so nothing leaks out....
add your colonized spawn/WBS/BRF whatever
place casing material over the top like usual....
incubate...
coldshock....

then remove the foil from the bottem of the casing tray and place casing tray in your pod... make sure u push down the tray so the geolite is coming in contact with the substrate through the holes....
now the pod should wick up moisture directly into your casing! yay!
id love to see what flushes would look like using this method...
unfoutanatly, i dont have a pod, and im short on cash, so i dont have the means to build one yet....

has anyone tried this before?
would anyone like to try it?
if it works well, im sure to build a pod in the very near future...
