Blue may be because of bruising of the cakes. If its green and powdery....its green contam. If its on one side of a cake, I would advise you to either chuck it all or cut all of the contam including 1 inch in all directiosn the contam was heading in. and swab the cut off area with alcohol or h202.
Grab a Q tip or cotton piece, soak it with some h2o2 and rub the possible infected area. If it is a contam, the contam spores will get attached to the piece, if nothing comes out then it should be bruising which is normal.
