Don't forget Led Zeppelin.
The UK seems to have a lot of unique, or very good bands in each genre. Good rock bands, some good techno, good metal bands too.
Earthtone 9 are a particularly good metal band from the UK, but are no more :frown: However the singer joined a new band, The Blueprint.

Not exactly, he's a working class protestant from Belfast.
Apart from the fact he now lives in Dublin, it's unlikely he thinks he's Irish.

I recommend Hawkwind. Nick Drake is cool too. Bauhaus is cool too.

I think they are the original psychedelic/heavy metal space rock band. I could be wrong.

The cut you referred to is pretty cool. One of their more popular ones. There's a lot of cool stuff out there by Hawkwind. A LOT. There are two Hawkwinds now I think.
