thats bullshit, they grow without caseing, but caseing, even a simple one, helps alot.
its worth it if your carefull

EQ's can almost do whatever you want them to. if your not experienced with casing go look for the Sea O Shroom method under the search function and you should have no problem with that~~~~

They grow just fine, in fact great, in the traditional cake method. At least for me.
