Sucks for the dude, even I don't think a guy can tell a girl that she HAS to go through with a pregnancy.

But I also don't see how someone can leave the choice up to the women, and then make the dude go through with it anyways

It's totally one sided, and the same liberties that are offered to women should be offered to men and vice versa.

I feel that if someone decided not to have protected sex it should be assumed that pregnancy will occur whether it will or not. Therefore it should be mentioned before possible conception if abortion is something you don't agree with. Its not some sort of "social norm" to be anti abortion so if a girl doesn't want to hear that suggestion maybe she shouldn't have unprotected sex with someone she isn't planning a child with.
Or just be prepared for an abortion

Again, the point is not whether you are pro choice or pro life, whether you are against abortion or not. The issue is the fact this is a woman's choice, so the man telling her she should get an abortion is way out of line and disrespectful of her body and feelings, even if the woman is pro-choice. It's not his place to decide for her.

its only the womans choice until you punch her in the stomach

I only replied because a friend of mine went through this 2 years ago.
He was so ready to be a dad with someone who didn't want to wreck her body because of this.
Obviously divorced.
But I feel for him.

U tried to convince her to abort it? Wow what a dignified guy you are. That's not ur decision for u to make. I'm glad ur not creating a real baby

Actually it should be a coupled decision. The conception was made 50/50. Whether it should be allowed to develop is also a 50/50 decision.

Conception is only one part of the entire situation. The entire pregnancy is a burden that is solely dependent upon the woman. Therefore the decision is more like 70/30, not the 50/50 you were suggesting before.

50/50
is derived from the 1 sperm fertilizing 1 egg. 1:1 = 50/50 :themoreyouknow:

and don't counter with twins :waddymelon:

If its 70/30 on her part weather or not she wants the kid then it should be entirely up to the man weather or not he feels like paying child support If he doesnt feel like being in the kids life.

Of course both sexes do it, but let's be a little accurate here--considering women are the primary caregivers and way more women have sole custody than men, it makes sense that women don't simply default on child support nearly as much as men do.

They also might not need all the child support, men pay based on how much they make - and a good portion of the time some of the moneys going to the kid, but most of it's not.

But more men typically pay child support, than women.

Exactly what is it do you think that women are paying with child support money? Cute little purses? Trips to Vegas? Houses in white picket fences?

Here's a good way to avoid getting out of child support if you want to see the kid--move in with the child and the mother. Child support is usually something that happens when the father tries to escape responsibility.

I have always paid child support for my 2 kids. Very large amounts per month might i add also.  The reason why I had to pay so much is because I went to College and had an Expected Rate of income whether i had a job or not.  Not to mention I had to pay child support while i was paying to go to a Condensed College (craming 4 years of knowledge into 2 years).

Meanwhile I am fighting a custody battle, with an attorney, for 6 years While i have the kids 50% of the time.  Every time the custody battle ended, she would go to court saying there was some violation, then BAM back in court.  In 6 years I never even had to say "hi" to the judge, yet had to take time off of work and pay for an attornery, and drive 550miles each way to court in a state i didn't live because she moved.

She or her boyfriend has never worked.  He sells pot and she just simply doesn't, yet collects SNAP, TANIF, LEAP, and WIC.  Now hears the bullshit.  I live in a trailer house that i can barely afford (hence incredible child support, with a broken foot so can't work).  While she just purchased a house and her 5th car.  I don't see Income tax returns ever, and she gets a 10k+ while not pay for Food or Utilities.

Where does the line really draw?  From my research it would be cheaper for me not work and collect the benefits, then it would for me to work.

Did I mention my injury is permanent?

The worst part about it is, she gets to shower them with gifts and toys, good clothes. While i'm barely affording them food and gas to get where they need to go.  Its completely unfair.  If any Guy has had to deal with the CSED then you know what i'm talking about.  That are insanely biased.

I hate to bump a sour subject lol.  When I was paying Child Support I went down and talked to CSED (Child Support Enforcement Division) about getting it changed as I obviously wasn't making what CSED said I was making.  There response was it has to be a 30% difference, and you can only apply for review once every 3 years.  Its a non-profit organization and won't take requests that are out of the ordinary from there daily role in the field.  I proceeded to ask "how would I go about changing this, and how would I know when my 3 years are up for review?"  They said, "Your caseworker (who is never there, and constantly changes) will notify you 1 month before your 3 year review or you have to take it to court and get a judge to push it through".

I took the legal route and my attorney got my child support changed all the way back 6 years!!!! The difference was so huge that she had to forfeit her tax return to me just to stabilize the difference in debt of what she has been over paid for all these years.  I gladly went out and purchased a 60" HDTV to rub in her face and piss her off out of spite (probably my only real spiteful purchase I have ever made).

Next week I get a letter in the mail saying that I owe her the sum of $16k.  I was like, "Whaaaaa?¿!!".  I went down to CSED to confront the computer error that OBVIOUSLY took place.  There response was "That was a State judge that reviewed your case and over turned the balance. We're a Federal Agency so we just said NO and now you have to pay back the money".  :nonono:  I couldn't believe it.  Just couldn't believe it.

P.S.  1 thing I did learn from all of this is that the guy has just as much opportunity as the girl in child rights.  All a guy would have to do is take the child and refuse to give it to her without a custody order.  Same as the girl does to the guy.  Really just a matter of who does it first.  And if you really want to piss her off, take the child, refuse to give to her without custody, and file restraining order so she can't see you or the kids".  Its the worlds biggest misconception that the girl is born with all the rights.  Then go down and file for TANIF/SNAP which requires her to pay child support.
