Flies in terrarium! What to do?

When I open my terrarium, I saw 4 tiny flies (midge?). I could take them away. But i'm affraid. I guess they could have come from an older casing taken from another terrarium. But I'm not sure.
What to do? Anyone had this problem before? Is it dangerous for mushs?

I had a new idea, may be does it come from the perlite on the bottom of the terrarium, that wasn't sterilised nor pasterised. I had to move quickly some casings to a new terrarium?
Anyone heard about that?
I'll try to change it today.

Thank you Anno. I secretly wished that you post a link you have the secret. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be mites, nor fungus gnats. And I must add that, for the moment, the mushs are healthy.

well,
isnt a traditional use for amanita muscaria to put a small peice of it in a dish with milk and the sweet smell will attract flies/insects and kill them when they drink the milk?
isnt that how i got the name fly agaric?
someone should try that to aid in cultivation,. i see potential.

I didnt read all the top posts for this but Ill give you my input...
I also had this problem...the only way you can solve it is throw out your perlite and mushrooms in the terrarium. The gnats have probably layed eggs everywhere, so nothing is safe. Just chuck everything, thats what I had to do, but luckily that was toward the end flushes. You can go thorugh the rest of the flushes, but you will just have to deal with them flying about all over. I did that for about a week. Make sure to clean out the terrarium real well, maybe with soem bleach to make sure you washed off/ killed off all the eggs.

please read this thread:
fungal gnat control
there's some great discussion on the problem as well as some good home grown methods for dealing with it.
I think that you'll find that gnats are a pest that can at best be held at bay if never beaten.

Just goto a hardware store and buy some fly poison or some of those sticky strips that the flys are attracted to and then stick to. That should take care of them. Dont throw away your cakes unless its absolutely necessary (ie, strong odor/shrooms dying/etc) Leave the sticky strips in there for a while so that if they laid eggs, the subsequent generations will be killed. Well thank you every one.
I confirm that the flies were coming from the firstly suspected casing. It was old and therfore I threw it away. I sterilised the perlite in the botom of the terrarium, and washed the terratium with alcohol (90?).
Now everything has seemed to come back to normal.
I'll let you know...
