Fruiting temp for EQs
    #1604778 - 06/03/03 01:27 PM (20 years, 9 months ago)

I've read at some point probably on this message board somewhere that EQs don't have much trouble fruiting at higher temps (up to 80 or 85 degrees). Is this true. It recently dropped to the lower 60s where I live and was wondering if it is better to try to fruit at higher or lower temps. I have a thermal vent which keeps the chamber at about 83-85 degrees, or they can sit where I normally keep them and be around 62-64 degrees. Any ideas anyone?

Just fruit at optimum levels for all kinds of fruiting so you wont be questioning any kind of funky possabilities. Fruit at 70 - 80 F range.

I just had a batch of Eq's (9 cakes produced 1 1/2 oz on 1st flush) finish and they fruited quite readily at 86 degrees.  The only reason it's so high a temp is that they're located in my attic.  :frown:  However, you should be ok with higher temps.
