Hello, My question is this...

Im going to be able to do a 10 casing mushroom grow for me and a few of my close friends to enjoy.

What is the most commercial strain? Im going to be able to do a 4 1/2 pint cake large case each and I would like to see a booming huge case each with just as rewarding end...

Im probably going to be getting more spores through The lil guy so you could perhaps tell me what a good choice is... http://www.thelittleguy.com/spore_products.html

Potency is a very large factor in my search as well... didnt know if anyone had asked this before so dont flame me if this is a newbie-ish question... then again... Iam a newbie so...  :grin: :smile: :crazy:

Well....

I?d recommend Ecuador or Golden Teacher....
But then the differences between the strains aren?t THAT dramatic. Much more important are your cultivation skills.

i see, thanks alot man... I really hadnt seen any real info on strain variation... I guess Ive been studying Cannabis too much, heh.

I'd go with cambodian... despite my fuck ups they are thriving ,whilst my mazzies are hardly growing at all,
As ryche hawk says cambos thrive to spread their sacred seed..
Ive also heard theyre very visual..

I'm pretty new to the forum and I've tried to read as much as possible in the FAQs and forum.
Your time and effort is really evident throughout this entire site. I THANK YOU!
My question is this, when it comes to substrates will most any of these mushrooms grow on brf or a grain? I currently am trying pink buffalo w/bird seed I bought presterilized - have thrown out 2 jars with green mold.
Next time I want to do the brf since I don't have a pressure cookker. Will Golden Teacher do well with brf?
of course anyone can give me advice, but I really wanted to thank Anno!
