casing help
    #1602979 - 06/02/03 11:28 PM (14 years, 24 days ago)

i have three ok sizes casings in a terrarium w/ perlite on the bottom and a constant temperature range of about 75-79 F. they are Huautla. i used rye to spawn, and 50/50 to case. i do have a little cobweb mold but the mycelium seems to be taking care of that. my problem is this: i think they may have incubated too long after the case and might possibly be suffering overlay. i don't know if this is possible within six days, so when does this strain usually fruit? i also think there may be a low RH but i don't know for shure due to the fact that i no longer have a hygrometer. what is the correct range? and finnaly, i suspect my own impatience and would like to know if my suspicions(spelling?) are right.

RH for casings should be around 80 - 90.

6 days is nothing, they may take even longer. You can detect overlay if they myc gets kinda yellow and if you touch it, it feel hard...

Like you said, patience.

The only thing im concerned about is your cobweb.
