Hey everyone, its been about 2 years since my last personal grow. I am doing something a bit bigger and doing 20 invitro madbags with Aussie and Ecaudor strain. So far my bags from the Aussies look like this. I was wondering if it was time to start fruiting or wait... this is the first time ive ever used a bag. I always did it the old fashioned way.

**UPDATE**
I just inoculated most of the bags. I still have 5 more bags waiting on a 3rd strain. Here are some pics!
13 of the bags laid out, getting ready!

Here is my fruiting chamber. It is temporary haha. I will be spawning these bags to monotubs. The 2 that are fruiting are just so I will have some to eat until the bulk is finished

My Incubator. It is a 250W Heat Lamp and a Rubbermaid Container. Gets the job done for bulk incubation!

I'd be worried that lamp is too warm. You don't need that indoors. You will dry out your substrate and make it too warm and inviting for contaminants. I'd replace that bulb with a nice 6500K bulb. It will screw right into the same fixture, provide the temperature of light your mushrooms need, and won't add hardly any heat.

I only turn the heat lamp on for about 10 minutes at a time. The tub will hold around 80 degrees for a solid 6-8 hours before a reheat is needed. Thanks everyone! I will be updating regularly!

UPDATE **5/1/2012**
Well I finished innoculating all of the bags and they are all around 25% colonized. I am doing Aussie and Ecuador strain with Mad Seasons Mad Bags. I am doing a 60/40 coco husk/verm casing. 1 bag per pan. So far here are the results.
1st 60/40 pan

80 is a little high for a myco bag the temp inside the bag can be about 8 degrees higher
and no need to case cubes just an extra step that invites more contams

Well the reason I am casing is because the bags dont seem to produce a good pinset and I believe its due to the FAE of the bag itself. The filter patch isnt getting enough air in to fruit inside the bag and have nice results. I only had 3 little baby ones. Casing them has given me great results in the past so I figured I would try it again but with a new style of casing layer.

i have never seen mycobags put out good result other then the few lucky ones every now and then but once you spawn to bulk i would still say skip the casing layer
i usually put a thin layer of my bulk substrate on top after i mixed my spawn in that has always seemed to give me nicer pin sets

Ok well hopefully I have good results with it as well. Do you think that pan was ready to be put into fruiting conditions or was it to early?
