Detroit Financial Emergency is Declared, Protestors Speak Out Against State Takeover

I swear sometimes I do not know how there can be people like this alive... This is the kind of mentality the "leaders" of Detroit have for thos who are not aware and why this city has taken so long to make any kind of rebound. I have even heard residents say that the Hatnz Farms project is a form of slavery.
But check this out.....
DETROIT (WJBK) - Minister Malik Shabazz made headlines when he made this impassioned remark at a Detroit financial review meeting on Monday: "This is white supremacy, and we will fight you. Before you can take over our city, we will burn it down first." Shabazz is upset that Governor Rick Snyder will appoint an emergency manager to run the city of Detroit if it cannot find a way to restructure the budget.
Gotta watch the video at this link as well as the article....

I didn't watch the link. But I don't think he should use rhetoric suggesting they burn the town down, because some people are going to take that literal and there could be issues.

There are so many things wrong with what he said. He claims its white supremacy if we elect a financial manager for the city. Like wtf?? All of the black leaders since the riots have done is make shit worse and steal tax payer money or at the very least are just completely inept to take care of the cities money in a responsible way.
A bunch of fucking racists.

Detroit is really that deep in shit...
I knew it was bad, but i didn't think it would kill the city.
Is the state doing any better than the city? Detroit is by far the biggest city of Michigan...

It weird. Like Detroit is in dire financial straights but its deff on the come up. Many new businesses are opening and young people have been moving back to the city for a while now but the city leaders are really trying to stop all that. They waste tax payer money and seemingly try to derail any hopes of a comeback.
The state overall like many other tho is pretty dumpy as far as jobs and thangs go but its not bad. Im just so sick of stupid fucking people running the show.

Have you been to Detroit? I'm really not sure it would make much of a difference either way.

Much of Detroit does not look burned out. People tend to gravitate to the blight porn.

Why do you think this happened to Pontiac? Because when you have masses of uneducated, unthinking idiots electing people to public office you usually get the same thing: morons that can't balance their own checkbook. The state tried to fix it before with Jinny G. They went back to the same thing. Why? Because the city is filled with fucking morons.
