will this hurt potency, drying

I have seen everyone talking about drying mushrooms with little fans. well I have a fan with a 2 foot diameter blade. I put the mushroom hanging off the end of the fan. The mushroom is 24 gram wet. it has been like 3 days and there is still moisture in it.

Should I just put the mushroom in a container of desiccant to finish the job or continue to let the fan do the work?

Doesn't mushrooms lose potency if I leave them out in the open air for to long?

Eh, probably/possibly but at a very low level, barely noticable. Dont worry about it :smirk:

Anytime you dry mushrooms they loose a little potency. By the way next time you get a huge mushroom and you want it to dry faster you can cut it in half from top to bottom then stick it in front of a fan.
