Ultra is stupid. If I were to do it again, I would just do the afterparties and WMC events leading up to it. Festivals without a late night are just not worth it to me. Especially with $5 waters, cops fucking everywhere, and crappy 1 hour slots for the DJs. At least Carl Cox gets a long set because he's a boss.

Small festivals are cool too. got back from aura not too long ago. shit was dank. Only one cop, and he was at the entrance. The security guards were cool too, they dosed with us.

Yeah the Aura lineup looked fire. If I was still in FL, I definitely would have gone. I'm hoping to make it to Gemini or Sonic Bloom this year. Small fests are definitely fun although I prefer fests the size of bisco. Tons of people (but not too many) and enough ticket sales to get big acts. Fests in the north don't really have cops either. Win/win.

i was at that bisco! borgore was defintely really shitty.
i've seen him before though, in a different setting he attracts a nice ugly fucked up crowd.
he's coming through near us soon.

They streamed Hardwell's set yesterday which was sick. Also watched some of Bingo Player's set, and it was awesome.
Definitely wish I was at Ultra so badly - yes the DJs only get one hour, but that's cause there's SO FUCKING MANY amazing DJs!

What do you mean by "ugly crowd?" Like non sorority hoes? I remember you mentioning that term in some dubstep thread as well. Bisco last year was a fucking blast. I'm surprised I'm alive  when and where is borgore playing? I suppose I might be willing to check him out again. Hopefully not cervantes main ballroom. I got clocked in the face by some dude with crazy different sized pupils in the bathroom for not even doing anything. That place is sketch as fuck. I think I got offered to smoke hash by young Miami sketchballs like ten times on the balcony.

So? It's hard as fuck for even djs at that level to develop their set in like 50 minutes. You might as well expect the djs in Simon cowells dj show to dominate.

I get that - I would prefer 2 hour sets personally, but it's still sick as fuck. Plus they don't really need to 'develop' much - the crowd is hyped as FUCK before they even step on the stage, all they need to do is drop banger after banger.
