I wish.  They've been fruiting later than normal in my area. I'm hoping they start fruiting by mid May this year.  They're snow-melt mushrooms in my area, for the most part, and last April there was still 2-3 feet of snow in the area where I hunt.

Can't wait for the season to start.  Can't wait for the spring.  I am tired of winter (even though this has been a very dry and warm winter by Ohio standards).

Well today I went by a patch to check things for the first time this year and im happy to say that morel season has begun in georgia! Now i only found 6 small greys, but they are up no less. This is the earliest Ive found them personally but YAY! By next week or so the season should be going a little stronger. I found these in Marietta just to give you guys an idea of where in ga.

Pretty good bit of morels out right now but these temps got me worried its gonna be a very short season. get out there now if you wanna find em.

Well, Georgia is pretty far south and people find morels there every year...
