prob about 2 months? They were developed from MS syringe... I keep them in the fridge once the cloudiness reaches an acceptable consistency... Keeps them somewhat "suspended" i guess... regardless, the next run of India I do will be from a new LC... just to see....

So these are updated pictures (From above)... VERY ugly bitches in these trays... and the other trays from the same bulk look like they are going to do the same thing...

Any idea what could be causing this so prolifically? I've read it could be amonia... lysol... or possibly trying to fruit too early...

I don't use any of the chems... and I start fruiting when I start to notice pins or "stuff" (In this case mutants) growing on the surface of the substrate...

Could it be dishwasher detergent?

Anyway, here are the pictures... first two are updated from the above pictures, the second two are the other trays beginning to "Fruit"...lol

And then the trays about to "Fruit"...

The dishwasher detergent I use is called Finish Powerball... they are little dry cubes you put into the little compartment in your dishwasher..

Here is whats in it... does anything stand out?

Genetics play a roll in it, but it could also be to much nutrients in the sub. The 2nd flush should look better. But, IME mutants are more potent.

Too much nutrients?? How do you limit nutrients??

I'm with you on the potency thing... I just wish they weren't so damn difficult to pick off the substrate...

I've never done a second flush before, I've always just picked them till they stop growing, and then toss... re-hydrating the trays seems like it could be difficult... not sure how I would do it...?

What was the mix for the trays?

And, to dunk just get a larger tub (such as a Rubbermaid tub) and fill it with water, put your tray in the tub set something on it to weigh it down. And let hydrate for at least 4 hours, I usually do this with my trays and it seems to work awesome. I prefer to let it dunk for 8 hours though.

My bulk sub is 1 brick coir, 6 quarts verm, 6 quarts spawn...

I take the coir and verm and put it into a bucket. I bring 5 qrts of water to a good boil... then turn of heat, and let sit for about thirty seconds.... then dump the water into the bucket with the other stuff... screw the lid on, but not all the way as to not let pressure build (These are gamma lids)... then I shake every half hour or so until it's room temp... then mix the spawn in.

The spawn I used this time was 100% colonized "India", Unconsolidated WBS... nocced from a LC I made from MS syringe...

I'm going to make another LC next time around and see if that changes anything...

Mhm, did you use any household sprays around while doing the mix? Such as oust?

Trying to figure you out but it is more pointing to genetics from what I am seeing.

just soak it in water, in the tray, put your finger tips on the substrate and tip it upside down to drain.

fruit it again
