yea, all I've used has been sawdust + a bit of gyspum. If I had a flowhood, I'd be doing a supplemented bag, too.
I don't control my temps, either. Just keep them in the basement under a light.

Basement stays around 62F during the winter. I'm screwed in the summer, though.
I've noticed that Enokis don't give a shit what temps are, well on the lower side. I've had grain jars fruit in my fridge & my LC is still fruiting in the fridge.

Well, speaking of fruiting in odd places, I was checking my dishes, thinking to make some more spawn to try some new blocks, when I saw this little cluster:

Fun stuff.
Take care,

JD your kings photo...wtf is going on with the fruit on the left?! They don't look like kings to me. The caps seem to come to a point and have a bit of a veil going on. The ones on the right look like the real deal.
TL so those plastic bottles for enoki are just washed out with soapy water, then pasteurised substrate that's been inocced is then spooned in? Sealed up and fruits 3-4 weeks later?

LOL, no that is a block of PF Classic that I grew out from an AndyMC give-away.
I will be giving these away as well.
Take care,
JD

Hello,
I wanted to share this new photo...
I cut the bottom of the sack to allow drainage, and am getting fruits:

This brings up a question. You can see in that photo that there are many other clusters trying to grow out.
I want to leave the plastic on this block anyway, as I already have a stripped bag to test that alternative. Simpatico?
Take care all,
JD

I'd cut a few more strips in the bag just to let the other clusters grow out. Otherwise your bag may end up looking like this jar:

BTW, enokis are delicious on pizza:
