So there is 8 small casings that will not be able to be fanned out tomorrow. it may only be a couple hours, but it could also be 9 hours at the most. It is just a one day that needs to be worried about. lots of pins(more keep popping up )just don't want them to die this close to the end of the first flush. Will they be ok if they are left for that period of time?

Yay idk if it really fits the guidelines of any of the types, they are all in one 56 gallon tub. They are verm/brf substrate, with coco coir and verm casing. They are I think 6 in. In diameter, and have pins from little tiny ones to about 1/3 in. With caps. Most of the pins are all the same size, there is hundreds upon hundreds Of them first indoor grow. There is no holes in the tub, but I've been putting the lid on crooked Overnight, and when it's too humid. Should I do this tomorrow? They've been getting fanned out At least 10 times a day, and are working great! I would upload pics but it won't let me on my ipod

you dont want them to dry out, which I doubt is possible in that short of amount of time...if you leave the top cocked without humidity loss issues, I would probably do this and mist them well before you leave

So would you recommend leaving it cracked and misting the shit out of it before I leave, or just leave it closed?

If you have a hygrometer you can check what happens to the RH if you leave the lid crack open...

I would fan good and mist before I leave, then do the same when you get home. Lots of people have to do this everyday when they go to work. Keep your fingers crossed..but it should be ok.

I do not have one but I can definitely feel the difference when I crack the lid. I've been doing this because the vermiculite on the bottom was getting really wet from misting It compared to the casings, but I have started to take them out of the fc to mist them. I have left them with the lid cracked for like 5 hours before, and the casings definitely start to dry Out. Oddly enough though every time has been different as far as casing dryness. Sometimes it will be super dry and others it has not made a difference. When it is dry as shit though I have gotten it back to the correct moisture level all the way through within a couple hours though.

Ha ha ya, I couldn't find a person to do so while Someone was at work tomorrow. I'm super Excited, every time someone looks at them they seem to double in size, so I can only imagine what would happen in that length of time

I think you should be fine to leave the lid on if your worred about it...good luck...perlite would be better in the bottom than verm...look into converting it to a sgfc in the future
