When I was 16 (7 years ago) I went to amsterdam. I smoked a lot of cannabis, and in one shop we bought a mushroom spliff, just to see what happened.
It tasted kinda like a menthol cigarette.
I didn't really think it did anything, but when I went to bed later on, I culd swear I saw some coloured patterens on the ceiling. Now I don't whether this was the mushrooms, or whether it was the weed (I've never had anything like that from weed since) or whether it was just placebo.
I've never tried it since, as I didn't think it did much, and since I've read more about mushrooms I've decided it would be a waste.
mjshroomer - the way you state your opinon as fact, without any kind reasoning can easily be construed as arrogance. I guess this is what people are taking umbridge to.

It is a fact that you cnnot smoke shrooms. The leading chemist int he world on psychedelic drugs Alexander Shulgin, a friend of mine also concludes that it is impossible. It had nothing to do with arrogance.
People get high form hyperventilating. Not fromt he shrooms.
ANd smoking a spiff with pot and shrooms in it of course you get high off the pot.

I would just listen to mjshroomer he is correct in saying smokein shrooms does not work. This is because Psilocybin is destroyed by heat simple as that.

Everyone who has said that shrooms don't get you high havn't smoked them, because thye get you high.

k, this is half an hour after I smoked 3 bowls.
Im still feeling weird, unexplained feeling. Trippy feeling. not worth it, but I proved to myself and hopefully everyone ehre that thye get you high.
Im not hyperventalating either. this is a high.

The issue here should be - why do you want to smoke your shrooms? Is it anymore effective than eating? No, most likely not, so why even bother? If it worked just as well, then I could see why, but all I hear is that it's very mild, and you need to smoke lots.
Just eat them.

Sorry but I have tried smoking shroom in the past (liberty cap) and I have found there to be no effect. Unless proven other wise I am gona have to stick with the idea that Smoking shrooms does not work you would be better of drinking 1/2 pint of CP  .
I can also understand why mjshroomer is being a bit blunt with this question but this is probably because this dam thing is been asked again and again and again.
Just do a serch in the forum under smoking shrooms and you will see what i mean.
Its enough to drive anyone crazy 
mjshroomer I dont see why you dont start locking any threads with smoking shrooms stuff as I think this argument has gone on for far too long.

you are right. I should lock the thread. I have only locked about four or five threads since I was made a moderator three years ago. Haven't had to lock people oout because of differences but you are right. This thread is going nowhere.
I have posted what the experts say and they are the scholars, and if people do not believe what the scholars say is so - then there is nothing I c an do to change their ways. That is their problem so as of now this thread is locked.
and Mr. MistaSmokupalot, your spelling is worst than my typos. You need to get back in school and study more instead of smoking shrooms.
have a shroomy day and do not waste your shrooms by gagging your lungs with unruly smoke.
