Question on waiting a week after full colonization

Ok I have some P. Envy jars that have been colonizing for about 3 weeks now and are fully white, they have been for at least 3 or 4 days now. I took 2 of them out of their jars because they are starting to get this yellow residue on the sides of the jar, and I assumed it was mycelial piss or something. I was worried that them staying in the jars with their own piss for so long would possibly damage or contaminate the mycelium so therefore I took it out of the jars to try and rinse it off but I discovered that the 'piss' or whatever it is is kinda stuck to the mycelium. I also noticed taht the jars aren't really fluffy, they are more like thick strands of mycelium spreading throughout the cake, unlike my golden teachers which are quite puffy inside the jar and completely white.
So is this OK? Should I leave the rest of the P.Envys for a few more days to get their extra week? Or should I take them out if they start yellowing?

1 - read more/do more research.
2 - mycelium metabolites are normal and healthy.
3 - it is standard procedure to let jars consolidate for a week after colonization, but it is certainly not necessary. The week of consolidation is to ensure that the inside of the cake if fully colonized, so that it does not get contaminated, especially when noobs "wash off myc piss" or otherwise excessively handle the cakes. The consolidation week also helps to ensure sterility until the mushroom is ready for the fruiting stage of growth.

thick strands of mycelium
- this is called rhizomorphic growth. The consensus amongst growers is that this type of growth is more desirable because of growth speed, health, and fruiting capability.

mycelium doesn't piss. They're called metabolites, and it's a response to the mycelium recognizing something is wrong. Normally, they're fighting a contamination, most likely bacteria.
Pics would help, but really long strands that look like mycelium is most likely bacteria.
How'd the jar smell when you birthed the two? If it smells sour, it's bacteria.
You should let your cakes consolidate for at least 1 week. I let mine go 3-4 weeks.
