Is there anyway that u could rig up an air pump, line out from pump has polyfill or something similar for air purification, connected to a sterilized airstone inserted into the jar of LC to provide constant aeration? Might sound crazy just a thought!!

Could you? Probably.
Would it serve any useful purpose? Certainly not.
Anyway, LC sucks. Agar is where you want to be.

With an LC less than 2L there's no need for an airstone and the bubbling takes the place of a mag stirrer. Pass a tube through the lid to the bottom of the vessel and install a hydrophobic syringe filter on the outside end of the tubing. Install your favorite vent in the lid, I use a piece of fishtank tubing with two pledgets of fiberfill separated by about an inch. Add your broth and sterilize as usual. You can attach a fish tank air pump to the filter and you should get a very slow bubble. Too much air and the broth will evaporate too quickly.
LC is an excellent technique for the rapid propagation and easy transfer of fungi. The main problem is that contamination is not easily observed. That's why you must plate your LC out on agar or perform test runs before commiting costly amounts of substrate.

How would in not serve a purpose in a gallon of LC? I'm still relatively new to this, but was under the assumption that the more 02 in a given LC the better, correct me if I'm wrong. I recently isolated a master slant and was wanting to keep a gallon of LC in a sealed metal gallon container I scored at a yard sale so a magnetic stirrer is out of the question. And yes agar is ideal, but i am a geologist for Chevron and am always on the road working, needed sum way of providing a constant/regulated supply of 02. Thanx for your opinion none the less!!

Leave about 3/4 to 1/2 of the jar empty. the oxygen in the jar is enough for the mycelium to colonize. when the oxygen runs out, the mycelium wont die, it just stalls out. you can store it in this way at room temp for a year or longer.
