Hope you guys like this. The upper chamber that holds the shrooms has holes drilled all over the bottom side and a modified computer fan built into the top of the chamber. The bottom chamber has two spacers holding the upper chamber elevated above desiccant. Enjoy!

So basically it's just a laptop fan blowing wind at mushrooms? How does it work? I might try this since I have a fan I don't use =P

Is that fan blowing in air from the outside? That would blow in moisture from the outside that would saturate the desiccant quickly.

Ha looks much better than mine, I'm jealous. Just made this a couple days ago for my recent flush. Much better than just putting the fruits on a plate and blowing the fan on them. After being on here for 24-36 hr I put them in a tupperware container with some desiccant and wire mesh.

I dont think you need the damprid YET. I used to get almost cracker dry mushies with a computer fan only and then I would put them in a container together with a ziploc bag (opened) and mushies would get cracker dry within a few hours. Try not to move the container around too much since you dont want damprid to get on the mushies..

Thanks for all the replies guys. I appreciate the input. I was just testing it out. This is my first time ever growing/drying mushrooms. I have the extra money to spend on damprid so I was like hey what the heck let me combine the fan with it lol. Actually dried the mushrooms really well. It took about 6 hours and the mushrooms are like crackers. Im not going to put damprid until after the mushrooms are already dry next time. happy shrooming. I'm shrooming right now It's awesome to be able to eat the mushrooms you spent the time and effort growing. It seems to enhance the effects for me.

Totally agree on the last part. Just knowing that what you are taking is from your hard work and time makes things so much better when you eat them. Enjoy!
