There's a part of every living thing that wants to become itself: the tadpole into the frog, the chrysalis into the butterfly, a damaged human being into a whole one. That is spirituality.

Cakes might be a little dry is all. Mine turned a little yellow like that too. It should be fine. Just let them do their thing and then birth and dunk/roll!!!

looking into the glass just that slice of colonized vermiculite does not appear ... it is possible that the mycelium does not colonize the lack of humidity? You can give birth the cakes before the colonization of that portion?

The myc is producing heat as it grows. if your temps are getting up to 83 then id say thats ur problem period. Like they said its metobolies, put them somewhere a little cooler.

Yeah i just noticed he said 83 degrees. I thought he wrote 80. Yeah you probably don't want the temps getting to 83 degrees in the incubator. PF cakes create heat while incubating so it would put the cakes at like 87-88 degrees. Thats why they are pissing yellow. Turn the heat down. best incubating temp that worked for me is 80 degrees.
